CHARLES WATTS ROOM

Fully refurbished in 2023 the Charles Watts Room is a bright self-contained meeting and function room with a washable luxury vinyl plank floor.  The room is accessible from the foyer. It can be hired as a separate room or in combination with the main hall.

This room is ideal for meetings, small parties and village group gatherings and hosts a regular Friday Lunch Club.  It is also popular for smaller exercise group activities.

The room has a 55" LED  mobile computer display ideal for meetings, training sessions and presentations.

Size

23ft (7m) x 23ft (7m).

Heating

In 2022 Air Sourced Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and central heating radiators were installed throughout the building.  The system is preset to a comfortable 18 degrees and can be adjusted by hirers to meet their needs.  We can also program the system remotely so that the venue is at the temperature you require for your hire.

Lighting

New LED dimmable spot lighting was installed in 2023.

Seating

The room comfortably seats 30 people at tables or 50 seated in a theatre-style. It has its own furniture store with circular, rectangular large and small tables and 50 chairs.

Catering and other facilities

There are airport style thermos jugs for tea, coffee and hot water in the main kitchen which can be used in the room.

Catering for meetings, training sessions and seminars can also be arranged via the Hall with an outside caterer.

With thanks to the National Lottery Awards For All for funding towards the Charles Watts Room refurbishment, new LED lighting and loft insulation and boarding.

Also thanks to the Your Fund Surrey.
